This Movie Put the Bill Haley Song "ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK" on the Charts and forever the Grandaddy of all Rock & Roll Songs, Its kind of a funny story, "Rock around the clock" was the "B" side of a Record titled "13 Women" that was to be Haleys BIG new hit, when the Producers heard the song Rock around the clock they knew that had the theme to their new movie, and within days Decca followed the lead and fliped the sides of the record makeing "13 Women" the "B" side, and as they say the rest is History.	This is a Pic of my long time friend Standing at the corner of "Rythm & Bluesville" and whom my mentor named me after, many moons ago Hunter Hancock, sadly Hunter passed away a few months ago at the age of 86, and still was only simi retired, makeing guest cameo's on the LA airways and showing up at So. Cal Events whenever he could.	Ol' H/H working the turn tables, YES that how we had to do it then, Plus answer the phones, to take request, Hunter was the First D/J to Play what was then Called and known as "RACE MUSIC" on White Owned Stations, With his own Style he set the pace for LA based D/J's to follow, with my taste in music and my style I have often be compaired to Hunter and thats a "Honor" to be Proud of, fact of the matter my own mentor the Ol' Wolfman thought so, so much he changed my name years ago, and before i knew it he was Uncle Hunter, he was a fine and good man and lived a great life, and will be missed by all that knew him.
